Knight of Swords

Upright Meaning

A knight charges at full speed on a white horse, sword raised, clouds and wind swirling around them. The horse's legs barely touch the ground. This is the fastest and most aggressive of all the knights — the mind in pursuit of a goal with absolute single-mindedness. The Knight of Swords cuts through obstacles with intellectual force, direct communication, and sheer momentum. He gets results. He also leaves wreckage. The question is whether the goal justifies the approach.

Reversed Meaning

Reversed, the Knight of Swords' directness becomes destructiveness. The charge has no strategy, the sharp words cut allies as well as enemies, and the single-mindedness has become tunnel vision. You may be burning out from mental overexertion or acting aggressively without considering the consequences. Speed without direction is just chaos.
