The Judgment

The Taming Power of the Great. Perseverance furthers. Not eating at home brings good fortune. It furthers one to cross the great water.

The Image

Mountain above heaven — heaven's creative force held within the mountain's stillness. Great energy accumulated, studied, and stored for the right moment.

Interpretation

Great creative power is being accumulated and held in check. This is not suppression but storage — like a dam holding back a river's force until it can be channeled productively. Study the wisdom of the past. Build your reserves. Develop your inner strength. The time for release will come, and when it does, you will need every ounce of what you have stored.

Advice

Accumulate knowledge, resources, and strength. Study the wisdom of those who came before. Hold your power in reserve rather than spending it prematurely. Venture out — don't eat at home — but carry your stored power with you.
