Holding Together brings good fortune. Inquire of the oracle once again whether you possess sublimity, constancy, and perseverance; then there is no blame.
The Image
Water above earth — water on the surface of the earth, flowing together into rivers and seas. All water seeks its own level and gathers naturally.
Interpretation
This is a time for forming alliances and strengthening bonds. People are drawn together by shared purpose, mutual need, or natural affinity. The hexagram asks you to examine whether you are fit to be the center of such a union — or whether you should seek someone who is. True holding together requires sincerity and constancy; those who join half-heartedly or too late find themselves on the outside.

Form alliances. Join forces with like-minded people. If you are the leader, ensure you are worthy of others' trust. If you are seeking, find the group or person who resonates with your values. Act quickly — the window for joining may not stay open.
