Six of Swords

Upright Meaning

A cloaked figure and child are ferried across water, six swords planted in the bow of the boat. The water ahead is calm; the water behind is rough. Reversed Meaning

Reversed, the Six of Swords indicates resistance to a transition you know is needed, or the inability to leave your baggage behind. The boat has stalled — perhaps you keep looking back at the rough water. Unresolved issues are anchoring you in place. You can't sail to calmer waters while dragging the storm behind you.
